Sponsored Content Policy

How sponsored articles and paid placements are created, labelled and linked.

What counts as sponsored

Any article, mention or link that a third party paid for, or provided something of value for, is sponsored content.

Labelling

Sponsored content on DigitalTechTop is labelled as sponsored. On partner publishers, labelling follows the publisher’s policy, which is shown on each listing before you order. Advertisers are responsible for complying with advertising and endorsement rules in their markets.

Search engines ask that links in paid content are qualified — for example with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". Each publisher listing states the link attribute that publisher uses so you can make an informed decision.

Editorial standards

Sponsored content must be accurate, useful to readers and consistent with our publishing policy. We may edit or decline it.

Independence

Sponsors do not influence our independent articles, reviews or tool results.
